Entrepreneur Appetizer #7: Someone Deleted My Wikipedia Page

I was deleted from the Internet.

WTF.

My Wikipedia page was erased, and I was so mad.

It might sound weird to say… it really affected me.

But after talking to the Wikipedia administrators, and thinking about how I really felt being removed from Wikipedia… I had a realization.

And this realization turned into 4 key lessons I’m sharing with you today.

You’ll learn:

  • Why being erased from the Internet can be good for you
  • How to determine your own success
  • How removing expectations can be a GOOD thing

When’s the last time you were mad? Leave a comment and let me know.

This was perfect advice for me after seeing that a comment I left earlier today on your Rent vs. Buy post got deleted. I felt the same anguish you described, thought wtf, but have no admin to argue my case with. Oh well. Still a fan. Please don’t delete my AppSumo customer account!

I really like the segment on removing expectations and it goes hand in hand with determining your own success.
