Just listened to #7 - How to Come up with a Business Idea. My problem was how to record quality video. I figured out how to do it and now have my own video recording studio. I found other women business owners who wanted to make quality videos. I have started to offer making and editing videos for them. Two clients so far.....

Lovin' the podcast! A refreshing change from all the others. Perfect duration, clear and concise. Nice work!

Came to know about this podcast on Mixergy, subscribed, will listen this evening. Looking forward to some awesome shows.!

January 25, 2017 at 2:27 pm

Wish we didn't have to listen to these through an app, my other favorites have a "play" button on their websites.

January 30, 2017 at 10:19 am

Agreed. You can play them directly from Apple's website here:

Hover over the podcast and you'll see a play button appear on the left side. The only issue is that you cannot pause and/or start it again later a specific spot.

Good call.

I've debated whether I want to email every single podcast out to people or not.

Thinking of taking the beta list and everyone who commented on this to that list.

January 24, 2017 at 1:46 pm

I think it's a great idea, would love to get emailed updates.

January 30, 2017 at 10:16 am

Either that or make it easier for yourself and just add a subscribe box at the top of this page.

January 24, 2017 at 6:17 am

Hommie don't do iTunes. If I can't download it from your website, not gonna listen (and I really want to).

Wasn't really sure, I needed another podcast in my life. But I gave it a listen and added it to my dog walking podcast playlist.

Always leave with a positive feeling after one of your webinar/presentations. Thanks for the shows so far.

So Ive been following your story, will all the taco puns for a while now.

Ive been an entrepreneur since I was 15 and actually through you I started following rich20something, which oddly enough now brought me back to you and your new podcast.

Thank you for all the info you put out there, I love the business model that you've made throughout the years because its a add value first, ask later model.

I will keep supporting and promoting your work as I have for the past years along with Daniel's rich20something.

January 21, 2017 at 12:59 pm

Very nice to 1) hear very unusual questions triggering honest responses, 2) go away from traditional formal business talks and have FUN, 3) get simple yet powerful business insights

I liked the content, but I think the production quality could use a little work. The beginning of the Jason Fried episode was a bit abrupt. Also, I think I missed the deadline, but I wanted to make sure I had listened to a few before reviewing. (Hopefully you'll let my entry count!)

January 21, 2017 at 3:10 am

Noah, I' m only subscribed to one other marketing podcast that is worth listening. Reviewed, and looking forward to your always awesome hacks.

5 star rating. Spread the podcast to my entire team at Tesla Motors!

I'm really glad you've decided to start a podcast. It's been fun watching Tim Ferriss and Joe Rogan grow over the years of podcasting and I'm looking forward to what you learn and how your podcast grows over the coming years. You ask excellent, honest questions others avoid such as asking Tim Ferriss about balding, a question everyone is wondering deep down, but are too self conscious or shy to ask.

I'm excited for you and I'm glad you decided to start down this path.

Good luck with everything!

Love what you're doing here...really enjoy your casual interview style. Jason Fried episode was deeply engrossing. Subscribed, rated, reviewed, tweeted...I don't think my mom would know how to listen to a podcast.

Nick Meade
January 20, 2017 at 10:15 pm

Seriously loved the show. It was great hearing non-standard questions being thrown at Tim Ferriss. My only complaint is the sound quality. Quality got better as Podcast 2 progressed, but the first 10 minutes was a little distracting. Just a heads up from an audio nerd...

January 20, 2017 at 10:04 pm

Thanks Noah
You have always been a person who gives and brings value to those of us that share in this pursuit of entrepreneurship Thanks for providing another platform to glean from your wisdom

I'm excited to see what you do with this podcast series; you were great on Pat Flynn's Smart Passive Income podcasts! By the way, nowhere in your steps above did you mention to actually listen to your podcasts! I'm downloading now.

P.S. Subscribed and gave you a 5 star rating.

P.P.S. Castor oil (according to my brother) will slow down the hair loss.

January 20, 2017 at 8:47 pm

I couldn't find you on Google Play or in Blubrry. Remember, not all your audience will be in Apple. The instructions for andriod users were confusing/didn't work. (Okay, I'm over 35 and have not asked my son for help and so it might work for others but not for me. Yes, it could be that I'm not smart enough to get it to work, but in today's "get it in an instant" economy you need to make getting your podcast so simple even I can access it.)

Awesome material, I am quite excited for new good stuff coming up. I first listen to Noah on an interview from Tony R and his clarity of mind and straight talk is awesome. Highly recommend

Loved the show! Smart, funny, real...does it get better???
Ps I'm voting for the best day ever hanging w/you. ( to say this and not sound like a stalker)
Pps. As far as promoting... ya just gotta tell anyone who cares about you long enough to listen...(wow I feel like I'm channeling Bryan Harris)...even it they don't need it they know's the old Prell commercial...and they tell two friends.... 🙂

January 20, 2017 at 8:22 pm

This is the most excited I've been for a podcast since Tim Ferriss started his experiment. Really excited to see the direction that this podcast heads in.

I'm really excited about the podcast. The interviews are great and really inspiring. Keep up the great work!

January 20, 2017 at 8:02 pm

You are a content machine (in a good way) blogs, speaking gig and not podcast. Do you even sleep? Anyway excited to hear your voice on podcast.

January 20, 2017 at 7:52 pm

Dude, loved the format. I can't wait to see where this thing takes you. Keep kicking ass and eating tacos!

I sent you to my list, facebook page (personal and website), and told a ton of friends about you. This thing is much better than most podcasts out there, so I want it to succeed beyond your wildest dreams. Cheers!

January 20, 2017 at 7:46 pm

Im loving this show! I blew through the first 4 in a matter of hours and devoured the 5th one as soon as I saw it. The questions he asked Tim were unique, which is needed when you know most of the answers to the traditional questions already. Episode 2 is my favorite and I hope you continue exploring the Fit Fly Shaker story. There was so much useful info in just one episode.

I've shared in on Facebook and Twitter (since the are all I use) and have shared it with several family members and friends. I can't wait to hear more. Keep up the amazing work.

I've been following you (but not like a stalker...probably not?) for many years now, so I'm glad you finally created a podcast. Reading more stuff is just too difficult in today's age. God I sound old.

Just shared on Twitter and Tumblr.

January 20, 2017 at 7:00 pm

Great new show! Love the conversational style and no-BS approach. While some of the guests are familiar, the interview content isn't repetitive of other shows (good job!!). My only disappointment is that the podcast wasn't called "Taco Tuesdays Every Day with Noah Kagan" or at least prominently featured a taco in the album art.

January 20, 2017 at 6:55 pm

Listened to my first episode today. Great show. Insightful advice.

Always love listening to Noah. Hopefully, when I take my trip to Austin I will be able to meet him when I try to talk my way into an AppSumo tour. Noah has been my number one source for internet marketing concepts for years now and I love AppSumo as a product.

Left a review on iTunes. Already love it, man! The Timmy F interview was awesome asking him hard questions that he doesn't usually get asked. If you held him to the "are you single" question you might have found yourself moderating the 2020 debates! You let him off the hook! Ha. Good stuff, Noah!!

Chris Bird
January 20, 2017 at 6:46 pm

Love the podcast Noah. Specifically, drilling into the specifics on Episode 2 of what worked, what didn't and how to go deeper with goals. I love to read so Ep 3 with your Schwarzanager (I can't spell it either) book review gave me a new way to approach summarizing a book. Great stuff. So great that I posted the $hi+ outta your podcast on T and FB. Keep it up.

John Walters
January 20, 2017 at 6:45 pm

Great Podcast Noah, it's refreshing to hear straight discussions with your guest. We are "all" tired of hearing the success stories and want to hear "Rags" part of the stories, who they reached out to for help in their desperate hours, who they surrounded themselves with for success, and what was done to turn the Ship around. Keep it up and I'll be sure to tune in often

Noah "Tacos" Kagan! I know you will reach your goal because you are very specific when you set them. 27 of the #sumogang posted before me on Facebook. 39 members of the #sumogang posted before me on Twitter. I posted on Linkedin (publically and to private marketing groups) to recruit more members of the #sumogang. My email list and company is so small I called and told them all individually. I made sure I listened to each episode before blessed you with five stars. Now I wish I could give you six. If I don't get an opportunity to personally beat you in chess, just know you have added a tremendous amount of value to my life over the past few days. I will tell you my soul instrument at sumocon this year (or if I win the grand prize) and right now I deleted so many apps I am having notification withdraws. Good luck this year I know you will get surpass your goal of monthly downloads.

Hi Noah, great podcast! Very refreshing and interesting. I have left a review, tweeted and liked on FB. Really enjoyed the interviews so far. You do talk kinda fast, so one has to listen really carefully to catch everything. Love your work!

January 20, 2017 at 5:55 pm

January 20, 2017 at 5:50 pm

I heard Noah speak at a lean startup con in Austin 5 years ago. His talk inspired me to think differently about the art of startups. It's cool to hear him every week on his new podcast. Straight talk no bull shit! Keep it going Noah!

January 20, 2017 at 5:49 pm

Thank you so much for this, Noah. I've only listened to the one episode so far, but it's completely bringing me back to podcasts as of today, regardless of the contest. As I said in my iTunes review, I've found myself in a much less supportive and dreams-posistive living environment than I've known before, and having voices and real humans to look to and up to in this really accessable way is a lifeline for me. So thank you, so much. and congratulations on the launch! I look forward to both listening to the rest of the journey here, and perhaps crossing paths one day when I am more of what I can be, which won't be without help, some, most appreciatedly, from you, your companies and your guests. Thank you.

Hey Noah!

In honor of your new podcast, I decided to give out FREE TACOS to promote the F*CK out of Noah Kagan Presents.

I had it filmed --> edited --> turned into a movie trailer style epic drama clip...

AppSumo rocks my socks and I'm stoked you're doing a podcast now. Subscribed, posted, tweeted, shared, emailed, blasted, reviewed, and grammed!

Keep killin' it man,

Noah! I've been following you for years, and literally listened to your episode with Tony Robbins at least 7 or 8 times because of constantly finding new information packed in. I was ecstatic to help promote this once I checked out the first episode, and also posted on Facebook and Twitter.

Thanks for always bringing insane value to the table! Can't wait for future episodes.

Noah is a straight gangsta. Based on his body of work I have no doubt that this pod will be fire.

January 20, 2017 at 3:05 pm

Seriously about time you launched a podcast. I remember first listening to you back when you were doing ActionStream (?) videos with top marketers and such. When was that? 2009?

The one piece I always remember was you recommending SmartWool underwear and that you'd been wearing the same pair for a week travelling across Europe or something. Pretty sure I first bought merino wool underwear after that and they're amazing.

The Ferriss episode was great. So unconventional with obscure questions and a personal touch. It definitely helped that you'd known him so long.

Recommended it to my accountability group already.

Stoked to hear more.

Thanks Noah.

Noah, I'm love love loving the challenges. For some reason, even though the conversations themselves are great, that's what I look forward to most and you deliver. Or, rather, you make me deliver? The Sumo Mind Tricks have been putting a bunch of smiles on my face.

Noah, I like where this is heading! In particular, the case study format with Dustin. Would love to hear more of this type of content - people currently in the weeds, trying to get their ideas off the ground.

I really look forward to the podcast... if i win this it would be amazing, I would really enjoy the perks but most definitely I would give everything away if I had to choose only one of the prizes and that is the day with Noah... I look forward to diving into the podcast and if I am the lucky one then I will most definitely look forward to enjoy and learning with Noah for a day... I could dive into what businesses I am in order to justify why "It would be useful for me" to spend a day with Noah but I'm not lookng forward to sitting down with Noah and xpecting him to spit out his years of experience of business in just one single day... I look forward to spending a day with him because I can learn the way he sees the world, the way he behaves, the things that matter for him, in summary, I can have a glance of his "religion"... the tactics are width and that can be found online, but the religion is depth and I think that can only be learned by his side.

January 20, 2017 at 2:30 pm

Excellent podcast. Refreshing approach to Q&A. Noah asks unique questions so that his podcast content is new even on well-known subjects.

January 20, 2017 at 2:43 pm

What a great laid back information packed podcast. Easily become one of my top ten podcasts from which I pull everything I listen to and I look forward to everything to come, thank you!

January 20, 2017 at 2:01 pm

Done. I called you a Stealth Weirdo in my review on itunes. Really well done, esp the interview with whathisface from BaseCamp. I've been kind of swearing off listening to yet another interview with a business dude, because I've kind of overdone it (with lesser mortals). I've been pivoting back to the Arts. But I wanted to enter your contest, shameless admission, and I had to walk the dog, and the only new podcasts on my phone are political, and I just needed a fricking break today from any political antics. So... I downloaded yours.

Walked the dog in the woods with my snow shoes, and got lost because a) trails haven't been broken yet and I thought I could easily re-do last year's walks, and b) got into your podcast. I ended up face to face with a sign I have never ever seen before, a not-new sign warning of hunters (bow and arrow and guns). I've been on the trails for more than 12 years. Never been in that part before. You could have had me killed, dude. But you didn't likely because ... I was listening to a podcast in the woods. And I smelled like soap, me not being a hunter trying to attract deer, bears, and moose. So I wasn't really in any danger. I think.

All steps CHECKED! 🙂

My recommendation for Noah's PODCAST:
- start using your prv FB account to promote your shit. You have almost 10k followers + friends waiting for the info about your podcast. Why reach strangers when your friends are looking for information about your podcast? 🙂
- You were invited as a guest in other podcast- ask them to mention you in their groups/@ lists. They have a podcast audience so use it as a pay back for your help

- Create a banner about your podcast (as a FB cover) and ask US to post it for a 24h with a link and personal recommendations from us

- Ask us to send you 10-30s video saying why we recommend you as a podcaster- than post it on Utube/FB and tag everyone who send you it.

- Post Podcast episodes on a Utube- there’s millllions of people who have no idea how to listen your podcast BUT they do know how to use Utube

- Invite some of your fans as a guest or ask us to send you 15-30s question you will answer in your podcast

- People love webinars- pls do organize a webinar for us, give us 30min of your awesomnes and than ask for a subscription

- 90% of people from Poland don’t understand English. We can do transcriptions and translations for polish language. Do the same with Spanish, French and Germany. I’m sure there are other Marcin in Germany, France and so one who would love to help you

- “If you help me reach 100k downloads this month I will run naked over the Bat Bridge” that’s just a suggestion. My wife says hi! 🙂

- organise FBLive about your podcast. Just tell us what time you will be doing it, so allllll of us could send information about it to our subscribers and let’s make the biggest FBlive (don’t forget to put active link directing people to your podcast). Try to imagin: 5k of us in one time watching your FBlive, and than you ask us “pls share this FBlive” 80% will do it in a seconds.

All best, finger crossed! If you need anything just let me know. With love and taco!

NOAH!!!! I am so excited about this Podcast OMG!!!! I love SumoMe and AppSumo. Promoed you in on Facebook and LinkedIn. Having Taco Night for dinner at the Tate house in your honor! Mainly I want to tap into the same frequency you run at and learn how to think like you or similar. I wanna be just like you when I grow up (wipes tear from my eye). Hoping to be amazing enough to have a conversation with you one day, much less you mention me in any one of your resources.

Most people tell you to draw from previous accomplishments to have confidence in what you can do. What do you draw confidence from when the last accomplishment you had was when you were the drum major for middle school band and you won honor band that year? No previous business for themselves experience..... What type of activities outside of business do entrepreneurs do?..... BEST PLACES TO EAT TACOS!!!!! What kind of people should you ensure are in your network? Personal Development.

also FYI my iTunes review is under a different email than my SumoMe acct, not sure if that affects your analytics or not.

Promoting the show as we speak - and just left the following 5star Apple Review: "At last - a break from the same old cookie cutter interviews and the same old questions. An actionable podcast that's more valuable than 99% of paid content out there. Not to mention an intro you'll want to listen to on loop all day. Get it."

Thank you for launching this podcast series. I always get something valuable from you sharing your experiences and what works in your life!

I love the idea of the best day ever with you and I'm so going to utilize this for myself eventually once I can give people their best day ever! I couldn't comment about anything else because I haven't started to listen yet lol

about time. I joined the Wantrepreneur to Entrepreneur course and it's a simple course that goes over the very basics of entrepreneurship, the psychology and framework to keep trying until something sticks. What's missing is never the "actionable information" it's the action part. The Rejection Therapy video of Jia Jiang in the course, was worth the money alone. Since then I've been less fearful of failing b/c I really have nothing to lose

Love the "Journey of Creating a Physical Product" live ongoing case study episode. Nice to hear from someone who is right at the beginning of the business building process and your advice was excellent! I have a meeting with my investor later today and I am using your suggestion for numerical goal and a breakdown of how I am going to get there for each month. Perfection.

I love what I'm hearing so far out of the podcast. I'd love to hear more about the 'ah ha' moments these individuals had along the way. We all know failure and getting back on the horse are a main ingredient to achieving success but the little moments that were eye-opening are what I think hold a lot of value (a la Tim sharing in Denver that changing your geography really 'sunk in' and opened new lines of thought/action for you). Keep it up!

Listened to the Tim Ferriss interview so I could leave an honest review. In the short time there with Tired Timbo, you nailed it.

Shared on Twitter and Facebook...obvi as in said in my review....Come for the banjo, stay the refreshing new business info Can't lie, I’m a recovering business podcast junkie. You name it, it was clogging up my iPhone. But after hearing the same “gurus” spewing out the same worn out stories and tips on every podcast I was over it.

But after hearing Noah, was launching a podcast I knew it would be different. I ear guzzled all 5 launch week podcast episodes and they did not disappointment.

The episode with “fan-boy” Justin episode the best so far. I love the live case studies. Of course if Neville shows up, that will be my favorite episode. ***hint hint** 🙂

Loved your episode with Gabe. I am 24 and it's awesome to hear advice from someone my age.

At the end of the episode you gave us a challenge - spend 10min a day working on something new. I'm a UX designer with the goal this year to learn front end dev and programming. After hearing this, I signed up for TreeHouse and am working my way through the courses.

Thanks for the kick in the butt to get started!

Noah is that source of upbeat can-do-anything attitude that is healthy for any entrepreneur, but also for anyone like me, who has come from a background where people hate on innovation and creativity, it helps to have that champion for your passion.

I jumped on this the moment I saw it was available! I've listened to the first two episodes so far and it's a lot of fun! It's a little inconsistent but that's only because you're inexperienced at it. Go back and listen to the first few episodes of the Tim Ferriss Show compared to today and you'll see that his podcast wasn't always the quality show it is today... time to learn new things!

Not only would I recommend this podcast, put it on an iPod and snail mail it to your grandmother 🙂

January 20, 2017 at 8:52 am

Hey Noah, loving the podcasts...hope you continue making more. I promoted the f*ck out of your show and told a bunch of my friends about it, and left a review as well.

Great start to the podcast. I'm a Ferris fan, your interview together was great. Loved learning about the interrogation questions @ Sumo, which parent would you choose to die? - what?!?! Your interviews are sparking new thoughts in my head.

Done and done. I don't really listen to podcasts (which I mentioned in my review) but I'm making an exception for this one, because I'll pretty much consume anything Noah puts out there because, magic.

January 20, 2017 at 8:33 am

Hey brotha..I'm glad you have your own show, I'm sure you're going to do great. I've shared it already with close friends that I thought would be interested and have already got positive feedback.
I also had to share this with you and was figuring out how to do it, and had an idea but this would work.

Podcast #4 with your cousin Gabriel really stood out to me, and I thought it was ingenious of you. Proves trying stuff out (recording a conversation with your 23 your old cousin) can turn out awesome, like this podcast did.

You're right the kid has some wisdom! Wish him the best.

Points that stood out:
1. The way he said it just (stuck, hit): When Gabe was telling you about that match he was having and the coach told him something like you gotta be hungry to eat or something like that, and you were surprised how that just pumped him enough to handle that last match and win it. Gabe said that it was the way his old coach said the phrase that made it stick. I think this is why I'm excited about your podcast. One time you said something that I had heard in similar ways but never stuck...the way you did stuck and I appreciate you for that. You said something like, "You never lose anything by asking. You actually do lose by not asking." That's pushed me out of my comfort zone in rewarding ways..and is something that I still have to "hear you" say in my head to move forward.

2. The way you help inner city kids in rough neighborhoods bro is showing them how you can "be a baller" without having to be the next rapper. How just some effort, passion, and crap load of perseverance can get you to baller status without having to go the easy way...which really doesn't pay out much anyway. There's very little examples in the hard cities who kids can look up to bro. I'm originally from LA, and although I wasn't in the toughest neighborhoods a lot of my "homies" from high school either dropped out or were locked up before I finished. No good examples. Taking examples to them, and then guiding them I think can make a huge difference. If you really want to help and you think we can do something. I'd love to help with this. We can talk about it over wife is Mexican and makes bomb as$ tacos and salsa.....and I live in Kyle.

I know you'll succeed with the podcast and just hope it lasts a while.

So pumped to finally see your own podcast! I've been waiting for it! Keep up the great work. I appreciate all you've shared. You're a big reason I found my way to doing what I love.

You are missing a big audience by not posting a player on a webpage or allowing for manual download of the file on .mp3 instead of using a podcast player.

Hello Noah,

You've chosen such great people as first quests!

I'd love to listen more on what went wrong with your business (during an early stage), what would you do differently if you'd started over and how you dealt with it, thanks!

Just subscribed, post a 5-star review, tweeted it from both accounts (personal and business) and sent an email to three friends interested in online business.

Free Autonomous standing desk sounds awesome! And 1-year Sumome is cool as well! 🙂

Listened to the first 3 episodes so far today and will binge the rest today. Loving it! I am surprised it is as good as it is. Usually it takes 10 or more episodes for a new Podcaster to get rolling.

Please, don't get too big! I love that you are interviewing the small guys on the way up like Dustin and his Fit Fly Shaker.

January 20, 2017 at 8:14 am

Reviewed - 5 Stars. Sharing with a group of entrepreneurs I am a part of.

Started a company buying and selling iPhones on Craigslist with $5 and turned it into an online business model using a lot of the tips you have shared through your blog. Started end of 2013 and broke 2 Mill in sales for 2016. Thanks Noah!

I'm excited that you are taking the approach of asking the deeper questions and having conversations with people that we've heard a 1,000 times on other podcasts/blog posts/articles. It's very interesting and so far helpful. Great start!

Kick ass straight to the point no BS Noah at his best. Love the action items to keep me moving forward and thinking. Nice...

January 20, 2017 at 8:04 am

Love this podcast. So refreshing to hear eclectic conversations, instead of the usual media tour stuff. I particularly enjoyed listening to your coaching session with Dustin. I'm building a service business, not selling a product, but there are many nuggets in there for me, too. Lookong forward to see where this project goes. Noah, my ask for you is to find guests who aren't white and male, even though I am. There's not enough diversity in podcast guests, and other voices have a lot to teach us. Thanks!

Made it a goal in 2017 to start listening to podcasts with a business/entrepreneurship focus. Your timing could not be better for me! You are one of 3 podcasts I now subscribe to (Ferriss, Gladwell, Kagan) Look forward to "tuning in" during business trips! I've shared via email with my closest colleagues and friends who would thoroughly enjoy the episodes already live!

Done. In a world of "want to be celebs" - You are a genuine "outside the box" thinker. I hope you just won't be an "interviewer" - seems like everybody uses that as a crutch for content. Would rather hear your original thoughts even if podcasts are shorter and less frequent - just my 1.5 cents - Good Luck - Be Blessed

Thank you so much for this resource, Noah. We have so much to learn from you and others!

There once was a man named Noah.
He started a podcast and sang 'Oh, Shenandoah'.

People listened here
and let go of their fear.
They listened there
and stopped pulling out their hair.

Now they could do anything
Be number one in the boxing ring.
Give their love a wedding ring.
Wear a sexy G-string.
Buy some fancy new bling.
Happily hear the telephone ring.

So, open your ears and listen now.
Hey, even bring a purple polka dot cow.

Now, go tell everyone.
And fly as high as the sun...
Thank you Noah, for being so amazing. I have helped promote the show to my friends and family.

This will be one of the very few podcasts that I listen to consistently. I love you easy writing / speaking style coupled with actionable ideas backed by data/research!

January 20, 2017 at 7:21 am

Noah, great job on the podcast -- at least 2 friends already joined me subscribing. Your show see business from another point of view, and it's bite sized too -- so I can listen in my car on a short trip. One thing that you should know is that you sometimes talk fast, too fast, while the person you were talking to (Tim Ferriss) is much slower. This way if I'm listening at 2x, it would be very fast. Try to talk clearer too will ya!

Hey Noah,

Because of my impeccable taste in podcasts, I subscribed to this before I even knew of the contest. Why you ask? Because you are a master of business building, a titan of online marketing, and a veritable Jedi full of sound advice.

You shall be my digital sensei and I shall be your Padewan learner (to mix multiple movies). You are Indiana Jones and I am...Indiana Jones Jr...or something.

As I listen to the podcast, I find my marketing heart singing of better conversion rates. I mean, it's a boring song because it's about conversion rates, but still.

This podcast is your digital dojo where you instruct me, Daniel-son, how to wax on and wax off. You shall be Rocky Balboa and I shall be Paulie (minus the alcoholism).

I look forward being a rope on the Goodyear blimp of you.

I then added an email to my autoresponder so everyone who signs up with from now until forever will get the recommendation:

Lastly I made a thank you video for you including the goal for the distribution of the podcast:

I don't usually laugh at podcasts... Was my review. Stoked to find a business-like podcast that actually has a sense of humor and shows real personality. Love that Noah's not afraid to say things that most wouldn't have the cajones to say.

Hey Noah!

Can't tell you how excited I am to help promote your podcast! I have learnt so much so much knowledge from you- I have watched every Youtube Video of yours and those on Appsumo, I have recently joined Monthly1K, but just implementing those free knowledge you shared online, I have made my side business a full-time job.

OK?Below is a list of stuff that I've done to help promote your podcast!
1. 5 Star Reviewed with a title "Noah is a Badass"
2. Tweeted Twice for your podcast! (@Jason__Kwan)
3. Public Facebook Post (
4. Posted on Linkedin (

By the way, which Taco shop do you like the most? Would like to send you a gift card for Tacos!

P.S. It's fine even I don't get any gift, just wanna show my appreciation!

Thanks Noah?

From your true fan in Hong Kong,
Jason Kwan

Really appreciated the lesson to be open-minded to learning from people younger than me (Gabe's interview) ... kicked my old-man attitudes back to a humble place!

January 20, 2017 at 2:01 am

Finally, a podcast that's different from all the others. Looking forward to hearing interviews with more relatively unknown people such as your cousin. Love your questions. Have reviewed on iTunes. Deena

January 20, 2017 at 1:56 am

Finally, a podcast better than tacos! Ok, you're right. Finally, a podcast tied for being as good as tacos al pastor and better than the rest.

Noah is super smart and a genuinely nice guy. I've been eagerly awaiting this podcast! Kicking it off with Tim Ferriss was a brilliant move.

I can't wait for more episodes!

January 20, 2017 at 1:55 am

I've loved AppSumo for a long time and this is the best thing ever. I mean literally ever. It's even better than my birthday, and I really like birthdays.

January 20, 2017 at 1:45 am

Hey Noah, great podcast so far (review posted ;))!

I really like your content in general but the podcast format allows me to listen during my morning commute and get me pumped up to get shit done. I always tend to think things over and when it's time to actually apply/do, my interest drop and procrastination happens. So your "Do it now" mindset is really what I need to get out of my head 🙂

Shared with colleagues and friends, best of luck!

January 20, 2017 at 1:39 am

Glad to see it's finally out! Sent word to my mother as requested as well.

January 20, 2017 at 1:38 am

January 20, 2017 at 1:34 am

Subscribed very early on and have also sent a list of ideas on how I think you can make this podcast awesome Noah. The prizes sound great, and always would be great to get some cool stuff. But I prefer having the chance to spend a day learning from you, and in return I'm sure I can add value in many ways with years of working in radio, marketing, etc. Skills that will hopefully complement your drive to make this podcast next level. Either way best of luck buddy.

I left a kickass review on iTunes. Not because you asked me too but cos you brought goodness into my ears. (I gave it a shot because you asked :). Stay uniquely Noah. Only tweet I suggest is to throw more punches at the guests. Challenge the assumptions - dig dig dig. This is in your nature - embrace it. (IMO Altucher does this best).

C.H. Brix
January 20, 2017 at 1:26 am

Thanks for starting the podcast - always looking for great things to listen to! I have reviewed the show in iTunes as I honestly feel and have promoted it by sharing the tip with a 2 FB groups revolving around online marketing/CRO.

You have been on so many other peoples' podcasts and I've wasted so much time trying to find them all. I'm pretty sure I've listened to all of them (shout out to Steve Chou!) and it's extremely exciting you FINALLY have your own. Started from the bottom, now we're here!

January 20, 2017 at 1:06 am

Yet another fantastic podcast to add to the listening rotation. I really appreciate successful entrepreneurs sharing their thoughts, stories and above all, experiences so that those of us currently experimenting in this space can learn from their wisdom.

Thank you Noah.

ps: My iTunes review will show under the Australian store.

January 20, 2017 at 1:05 am

I accidentally subscribed twice from my 2 different iTunes accounts. I'm sure a 5 star review is accurate even with 6 episodes in, I even tweeted about it @yevotg that it must be that good! All the best

I was hooked on your podcast after about 10 seconds into the T Ferriss show. I love the rapid fire questions, wittiness, and unexpected nature of the podcast. It's fresh and more people should be approaching it in your way. Nah, screw it... let's hope they don't catch on 😉

Thanks for making these!

Joe Fier
January 20, 2017 at 12:37 am

Btw, I got my biz partner hooked on your show now and told about 10 people at my marketing group that they need to hop on your podcast ASAP. Hope to push the needle more for ya!

January 20, 2017 at 12:28 am

Love the podcast! Love the contest as well! That standing desk looks really awesome!

January 20, 2017 at 12:28 am

Subscribed, listened, reviewed. Stoked to add this to my cadre of mad-inspirational podcasts like The Eventual Millionaire, Tim Ferriss, and now Noah Kagan Presents.

Would love to hear distilled learnings from each interview, like "what is the ONE action you can take today to make a difference in your business" like Jamie Masters does. Because we can read books like 4 Hour Work Week and listen to all the podcasts in the world and still feel lost on how to put an actual plan together.

January 20, 2017 at 12:26 am

Done and done. Your content never disappoints and now I can listen to it during my commute. I've been listening to many books on Audible, since I don't have enough time to read everything. Now it's awesome I can add this to my playlist.

Listening to Beyonce is fun, but listening to your podcasts is useful and life changing.

January 20, 2017 at 12:26 am

I love the idea of asking people the more direct questions that they won't be asked on other shows. Especially for bigger names who have been on a lot of podcasts, getting into the weeds on unconventional topics brings out a new element of their personality. Behind-the-scenes stories of regular entrepreneurs doing cool things are also fascinating.

January 19, 2017 at 4:11 pm

Listened to the first few episodes and the conversation is engaging. I like the idea of actionable "challenges" introduced into the episodes and it will be interesting to see where that goes.

January 19, 2017 at 3:49 pm

I thought the initial episodes were a nice start, and I let my Twitter folks know about it. I'm liking the conversations with people just trying to figure things out, like Gabe and Dustin. The pacing of some of the conversations need a little bit of work, but I'm sure that will come with practice and more episodes! I'm looking forward to more!

Noah, congrats on your new podcast. I just listened to your rapid fire questions with Tim Ferriss. Interesting questions. Learned a lot more about Tim in this interview.

I posted your show to my Twitter account.

Awesome bro I love it!, my iTunes review....
Noah's style is very fun and playful. They sound like real conversations aposed to interviews. I'm so glad you did this Noah! Some of my favorite things hes doing is having a challenge for me to do in each episode. I also loved that he interviewed someone who literally is just starting a business with $1000 and talking about how he found a supplier and is getting started. And they discuss some things he can test and try.

I am AMPED that you started a pod, and I am HONORED to be of service.

Since I don’t have an email list salivating for my media consumption recommendations, here’s what I’ve done instead:

- I posted it in #friends-of-the-pod (AND THEN I PINNED IT TO EVERY CHANNEL)

- I’ve started telling the baristas across the street about it (HECK I SHOUT IT WHENEVER I ENTER A CROWDED RESTAURANT)

- I am drawing up plans to get it on a waffle maker (SO PLS DON’T CHANGE THE NAME) (ALSO, I DON’T THINK THIS WILL BE FRUITFUL FOR U IN THE SHORT TERM TBH)

Help me help you have the best free magical day ever with me!

Always down for the cause, never down for the count,
Hugs n’ shrugs,

January 18, 2017 at 7:10 am

Hey Noah, great show! Rated the Podcast on iTunes. One idea for future episodes: I think you're recording at too high a volume. You're picking up a lot of echo and some kids in the background :). If I can recommend you should lower the recording volume, edit and then boost in post-production to avoid background noise and echo. You could also try making sure you're in a larger room with carpets.

Keep up the great work and love the banjo!

Noah Kagan
January 23, 2017 at 6:57 am

Thanks man. Definitely something I'm working on.

January 18, 2017 at 7:00 am

So I did this:

1. Create a WeChat account
2. Go to Discover > Shake
3. Set location at Austin, Texas
4. Shake the phone and tell the one who also shook to check out your podcast.

This could be automated and probably set for other locations. You could start your following in Asia!

You were asking for ideas on how I would promote the show right? Thought this would be a fun experiment to try 😉

January 18, 2017 at 6:40 am

I would promote where relevant listeners already are: on related podcasts. Simple as that. Be awesome on other shows, or advertise on them. Podcasters would love the sponsorship and association with you.

January 18, 2017 at 6:07 am

How I'd promote the show (assuming I was Noah Kagan or had a pretty sweet budget…): I'd test 2 old school ad ideas that have likely never been used to promote a podcast.

1. Aerial banner pulled behind an airplane.
2. Blimp with a message across it.

Message, something like: Facebook employee #30 finally starts a podcast - check out Noah Kagan Presents on iTunes to find out why…

Facebook employee #30 reveals best place to get tacos in Austin. Search Noah Kagan Presents in iTunes to find out where.

Would try them over America's top entrepreneurial cities during peak times when people are outdoors (or during a sports event).

Since it's likely that no podcaster has done this, if it gets picked up by traditional media or you plan ahead with a little PR, and if you factor in the social sharing aspect that would likely happen, it could actually create a viral wave.

That's what I would do…

Raymond Williams
January 18, 2017 at 5:46 am

Step 1 - release the drones!

All over the world, drones fly into bars, offices, coffee shops.
Through technology, they hijack every audio device in the area. Your podcast plays through every sound orifice.
The drones fly out again. Fascinated by what they heard, the public pour out onto the streets to follow the drones.
In town squares around the world — from Austin to Australia, New York to New Delhi, Glasgow to Gambia — swathes of drones reunite, followed by armies of curious people.
The drones align into a huge rectangle. In sync, they flip over, revealing their silver backs.
They form an enormous TV screen.
The screen bursts to life. A video plays, enormous.
It’s Noah.
He’s eating a taco.
He smiles. He laughs.
The sun explodes, destroying every human on Earth.
Noah’s is the last human voice heard in all of humanity.

Step 2) Profit

January 18, 2017 at 4:33 am

Totally reviewed the fuck out of that shit dude! I'll promote the podcast by burning it on a CD then hanging out downtown with a portable CD player and asking people walking by to listen to my fire mixtape.

January 18, 2017 at 2:21 am

Social has been represented with the podcast, including a mention for Charlie Hoehn as a way of thanks for sending me here. Thank you Noah for sharing and continually inspiring, which I especially need right now as I'm building a new website, so great timing!

You think it's his boldness, brashness, in your face salesy-ness.

"which I know is cheesy and cliché."
?—?Noah Kagan Presents, episode three: 7:30

Nope, Noah Kagan's greatest strength is his creativity.

Read my post on Medium:

Jared Ardine
January 18, 2017 at 12:04 am

So just a quick brainstorm on how I'd promote your show: I'm going to meditate 24/7 like I was guest on the Tim Ferriss podcast, achieve enlightenment, and then I'll have a nice sitdown talk with Buddha and let him know to spread the word in the collective unconsciousness. I'm sure he'll drop some key gems on how to promote too. Be back soon with a follow up.

Bam! You officially have another stellar review on iTunes from yours truly. (*with a hillbilly accent*) You done real good! (Back to normal voice) Loved the podcasts! I shared with my friends and I am currently withholding my co-workers pay checks until they show me that they subscribed to your podcast and listen to it (Muhuhahaha!) Don't worry, I won't have to withhold them very long. I also wrote my grandma a letter and told her all about you and how much I liked the podcast. I should be getting a letter back in about week asking what a podcast is.

I am very excited for this podcast. I loved hearing from you on other podcasts when you were a guest and I am already enjoying you as a host. Keep bringing it!

Just listened to the first podcast with Tim Ferriss. Great episode.

How I shared Noah Kagan presents.
1. subscribed, commented, and wrote a 5 star review on itunes
2. shared on twitter and introduced Tim Ferriss as first guest.
3. posted in multiple targted and engaged audiences such as sumo me mastermind and coffee with dan.
4. told my cat and girlfriend about it

Subbed, reviewed, rated, and shared. Here's the comment 🙂

I know how much Noah likes numbers so I coded up a quick dashboard to show the progress that I'm making in my marketing efforts. You can see it at

I shared the podcast on the local Tools of Titans FB group that I run as well as the Chicago group.

Of course, I also shared with my personal network via Slack, text, etc. and hope to connect with a few more friends with similar interests before the contest is over.

Twitter has been the most receptive audience so far. I love using search to jump into relevant convos.

Wish you the best of luck Noah, I'll be listening!

Just got done listening to the first episode with Tim Ferriss. As always Noah provides insightful information with humor. Very rare in today's world.

How I shared Noah Kagan Presents:
1. subscribed and commented on Itunes
2. shared on twitter and introduced Tim Ferriss as the first guest.
3. Posted to multiple facebook groups with engaged and targeted audiences.
4. Told my cat and girlfriend about it.

Seeing how everyone else wrote their review in english, I figured the best way to not only get more people to subscribe but also for new people to find you was to write the review in spanish! I also shared it on fb and twitter but the real kicker was sharing it on LinkedIn with all the business groups I'm a part of including those for business owners abroad.

I really think Noah's business advice is something people from all over the world need in an exactly no bs way. Good luck!

Skyler Hair
January 17, 2017 at 8:23 pm

I know how much Noah likes using numbers in his marketing so I created a simple web app that displays the progress of my marketing efforts here =>

The web app checks the user's device, redirects to the correct App Store, and keeps track of the source and number of clicks. (p.s. prefixing the link with itms-podcast:// instead of https:// is a more convenient way for iPhone users to subscribe to a podcast as it opens the native Podcast app instead of iTunes.)

I've started by sharing my link on the local Tim Ferriss Tools of Titans FB Group that I run as well as the Chicago group (one of the largest). I've applied to a few other similar groups with even wider reach.

Of course, I also shared with my personal network on Slack, text, etc. and anticipate having a few more clicks as I touch base with some other friends with similar interests.

Tomorrow, I'm going to experiment with Twitter and using search to jump into relevant conversations. I also want to search for some good YouTube discussions as dropping links there have worked for me in the past.

raw unfinished power - - balanced with nice polished nuggets of yummy, attainable steps to success = my assessment of your pods. The ambient noise is interesting to borderline distracting so, while I am going to push you out on my streams of eager to win consumers you need to balance the baby babble and merry holiday tootly toots with quiet open access to your burgeoning with success guests.
Tacos are delicious, and relatively undefined in your advocacy - I'm in. How about Noah fortune taco cookies? (must follow fortune with between the sheets, of course!)
Appreciate your the voice in the wilderness Noah-
I like the specificity and random ass kicking!

Did all the good stuff including sharing on company slack and telling employees there will be a quiz on the podcast at the monthly meetings. Also signed into my mothers iTunes and set her phone up it's the only podcast in her list she is gonna love it. Thanks for putting out great information!

January 17, 2017 at 4:27 pm

Hey Noah, love AppSumo and SumoMe, but unfortunately I can't review your podcast until you post something worth reviewing. It would've made more sense to me if you launched with at least one real episode. Either way, I subscribed, and deleted "Mario Run" from my phone. Who needs that?? Haha. Looking forward to the case studies and hopefully some actionable advice without a lot of fluff. Also, I have my eyes on one of those $100 AppSumo gift cards. I buy practically everything that shows up including the latest LeadsBridge lifetime... great deal!

I love you, Noah. But you CANNOT expect me to listen to you and a guest, no matter how fascinating, who can't afford to get a nanny for 40 minutes. I hang on your every word and believe you are one of the brightest - people should definitely be paying attention to you, plus, you're super-easy on the ears & eyes. I constantly give my 500 + clients resources that have enriched me, and they heed my advice. I would never tell them to listen to someone with annoying background noise in the audio, no matter how awesome. I would certainly recommend you as hot dating material, a GENIUS email list builder and buzz builder, adorable hat model, taco promoter, shit, probably underwear model, (I'd need to verify) and a host of other business/tech/human psychology wizardry. Please demand audio excellence like you do in everything else and I will promote the fuck out of you.

Very genuine! The quick conversation style helped keep me engaged, and it's heartening to have real talk about strategies, tips and opinions from some of the most significant entrepreneurs. I noted how this adds to the authenticity of the subject matter, and the swing of the pendulum is that there is occasionally some adult language that some listeners might not want younger listeners to overhear. I'll be sharing and listening for more!

I'm making podcasts a way of getting closer to the 5 people I want to be the compound average of. This is one of them.

I subscribed, and believe it will be terrific, but I don't feel right rating something I haven't actually tried. Good luck!

This is great, Noah. Really looking forward to diving into the podcast. I've subscribed and left a great review. I'll be promoting the best way I know how... Making a t-shirt. Your emails have always inspired me to create / improve business, and as such I started an online t-shirt company. So, hit me up, and I'll send you the "Noah Kagan Podcast" tee - plus shipping and handling 😉

I subscribed and I'm confident your podcast will be terrific, but I don't feel right rating something before actually trying it. Good luck!

Review: Doesn't matter if Noah talks about the latest book he read, gaining muscle, building business, getting girls, failing miserably or random men's bullshit, you can use all of it to make your life a bit better. Your future favorite podcast, I bet a taco on that.

Great to finally see you on the podcast train. I will wait for the full episode and share it on the socials and send it to my small list of podcast enthusiasts in Czech Republic (won't play the game with "friends with 100k email lists) and will find the best taco place in Prague (that will be hard) to listen to the first episode. Going all in!

I started with Twitter and Slack. I also shared with my Big Ideas group. I bet they can take it places.

Um, Noah...sorry to be a pain but what about the android users who have no iTunes anything (incl signin to leave comments and rate things)?

I want to be part of this. So far i already leant over and whispered about it in my wife's ear (in a romantic and totally not creepy way). Word is spreading's just that iTunes thing. I want to let 2 guys know (one with 125 000 people on his mailing list and another with 80 000) but feel it might be silly since they also boycott Apple like me (sorry haters).

I switched from using my old and cracked iPod to using my droid phone to listen to podcasts while walking the dog. Podcast Addict (it's in the Google Play directory) works very well, considering I'm used to Mac stuff. And it's free. And, it uses the itunes directory for podcasts, so subscribing is easy.

Wrote a bad ass review, twitter, etc.

Subscribed, promoted on company slack, send to my twitter followers, (just starting not a huge deal), shared on Linkedin and Twitter. And I tackle down a colleague, gave him an indian rub and twisted his arm until he said he will listen to you.

Awesome I look forward to this! Review shared all done

January 17, 2017 at 6:45 am

Wow! Excited to follow your podcast, after years of reading some of my favorite posts on how to excel at work from you.

So much so that I went ahead and shared it with all the people I care (and I know would appreciate your advice) on my WhatsApp and Slack communities. (I feel like a pied piper today!)

One suggestion: Would you mind hosting it on other podcasting tools like OverCast, for example?

Done. Commented and rated. Dude - I'm freakin' pumped to see you launch a podcast, will be listening to this a LOT!

I'd love to hear more personal account on hardships and failures vs. successes, I feel like a most people focus on success stories these days, failure, depression, all those hard topics rarely get the light of day. Funny enough, of all the interviews I did this one sticks out in my mind, Patrick Byrne talking about "living 6 months at a time" :

Noah - check this link out, this is the podcast and speaker series I ran for a while, some great minds on this list, if you need an intro to any just ping:

This inflection point is interesting to me. I'm tired of hearing how successful people are. I want to hear what was the game changer for them. What took them to the next level.
