Have you had a rough day lately? Don't worry, me too. I created a quick hack to cheer up any day.
1- Create a label in Gmail called 'happy'
2- Any time you get an email that is positive, label it happy and archive it.
3- Whenever you are not happy go to that label and read one of those emails.
Enjoy! What else do you to cheer yourself up?

that's kind of cute, actually, and not a bad idea
Should train WordPress' Akismet to distinguish between "happy" emails and not. Then after a while I could read only the happy emails, slowly drifting away into a world of ignorant bliss.
haha i love this idea!
Sri,
I'm not a tax accountant...we already had this discussion, so please stop being a little bitch 🙂 haha!
I need a happy folder today! Great idea....
What else do I do to cheer myself up?
Online shopping.... bad habit, but when the UPS driver pulls up I am oh so happy. 🙂

Very simple, very clever! Can you send me something funny so I can get the happiness going?
Perhaps you can set up a pissed off label as well so that when you are frustrated and need to vent, you can read an e-mail that you ripped into someone and it makes you feel vindicated, oh that is evil!

BTW, Sri, I have some catchin' up to do to knock you off the number one spot!
Sri,
I always know your comments/emails are going to make me smile!
i also created a label called 'Shivani'. I am now going archive tax and accounting related emails under that label.
brilliant. absolutely brilliant.
I am going to do that. ur a smart mofo! Let me send u a positive email soon so that i am guaranteed a spot in ur special folder.
Shivani,
Tear drop....
i just search: noah in my inbox and read any of those emails 😉
I just thought of this 2 weeks ago. I have around 4 emails in there so far. I haven't had to use it yet but they are there just in case.
Hmm, interesting idea. Did you come up w/ that one all on your own? How many e-mails do you have in YOUR happy folder?
