Love all the formats! You owe me $5, 2 tix for Romania bought last month on mistake fair. Coffee challenge accomplished but they only heard 10 cents. Instead of 10 percent, so I got a dime! Love no complaints.

Question to answer: I've been sharing the beef jerky experiment you did with people for YEARS - what's the latest with that business, and how would you redo that challenge today?

Noah, I have written an action/adventure novel called the Shepherd’s Betrayal. It’s available on Amazon. You can check out my website at William Congdon.net. People that like this genre enjoy the book. My problem is that I am having difficulty getting it out. Help?

We are a mobile personal training company focused on central Austin's hotel's, apartment's and condo's. We come to our clients and they book through an app. We don't sell packages, and trainers are educated weekly to maintain quality standards.

A question: Is the juice worth the squeeze? Or rather... how do you know when you're just wasting time on parts of your business that yield almost nothing in return? What parts of growing a business are worth squeezing for a long time (years) in order to eventually make awesome juice? Brand identity? Email list? Shaking hands and kissing babies? Kissing hands and shaking babies? (joking. NEVER shake a baby, haha)

Noah,
Don't be short sighted about your podcast, you may not have monetized yet but your show is still young. I've been around since ep.14 I think? I'm starting to hear small buisnesses talk about advertising on the Internet instead of the paper....that's an indication of the state of the average small buisness. I think it's worth continuing as radio phases out and podcasting becomes the norm.
Thanks for the shout out, that was supercool
Can I have 10% of an email back? Hit me up for some more perspective - Josh

I know I’m a little late but I wanted to drop you a line anyway. I find your podcast to be both entertaining and knowledgeable. In fact my wife was listening with me the other day and she asked who you were because she really liked the show.

You make me want to be a better business man and Podcast host. I run Countryside Workshop and the Woodshop 101 Podcast.

About 7 months ago, I left my last company—one of the big four car manufacturers—where I worked on autonomous vehicle strategy and planning. After getting through some personal life issues, I started consulting in the space as a freelancer, but I’ve been actively exploring full time opportunities. I get to the end of the recruiting process, and the team will even say they want to make an offer but then something goes wrong. I’m trying to balance waiting to join an ideal team and role against just getting back to work to help my amazing wife pay the bills. Any advice for how to think about this situation and get to a better state of mind?!
Thanks so much for keeping it real!

I recently was laid off from a company I helped build from day one. 5 years ago I agreed to join the two cofounders and help them start a healthcare company that is now $60 million dollar revenue company, but they laid me off yesterday and I have no idea why... I showed loyalty and I agreed to take a pay cut in the beginning I agreed to alter my career path for the good of the company and I was still let go...
I also feel like at the company we threw out titles and everyone got a VP role how do you handle knowing that the title you had at the startup company may not land me another VP job?

The challenge between growing your client base and wanting to fire all your clients and take what you know, and how to do and are good at online and only do it for yourself.
I feel like I'm so busy trying to make a living that I can't make a fortune.

Noah,
Thank you for ruining me for all other podcast by setting the bar so high! Love the format, the content and the questions you ask - real people, real questions with real answers. I just finished listening to the John Arrow's podcast. Nuggets like "embrace your discontent" and "for every success(ful business) there were twelve failed ones" are inspiring and encouraging.

And my word for 2018? "Impossible". As in "What's impossible that I am going to do today?" - pushing myself out of my comfort zone and toward my business goals for the new year. Thanks for the encouragement!

Hey Noah,
Great idea for a show and love that you're mixing up the rhythm of the show.

My question:
What books or blogs have had the biggest impact on your decisions you make in life and business?

Thanks!

Is hiring a student for development(coding) a good idea ? I believe I can handle the marketing part along with job.

You know I’m pretty good at cooking. And let’s say you are my cooking pimp. You can literally use my talents to cook for anyone in the world that you know. And you know this would be beneficial for you as a brand but also me as well. Who would that person be?

What podcasts, YouTube channels, influencers, TV Shows, websites, etc. do you frequent or recommend for business peeps like you and me. Basically, I want you to share with us your Christmas List of Knowledge (I know your rabbi kosher pickle or whatever but let's get some holiday cross promotion, you give out the Xmas list of business resource goodies and I'll tell baby jesus to drop some presents down Jewish chimneys)
