Congrats to Ramit Sethi, I Will Teach You to be Rich is #1 book on Amazon

After I graduated Berkeley I wanted to meet some new interesting people. A friend said I should meet this Ramit guy. We agreed on a time and right when he came up to me and told me a joke about his name and women. I was hooked.

Fast Forward, 5 years later and he is now a top selling author similar to a few other writing friends I’ve met/helped over the years, Ferriss & Ori.

Ramit’s personal finance talk is simple and to the point. No fluff, no excuses and just a whole lot of goodness. you can read some excerpts here.

Buy the book here, I highly recommend it. And if you want personal finance stuff more regularly, check out his blog.

If you buy the book and email me the receipt by Wednesday (3/25) to ramit@okdork.com. We will randomly choose 1 person to join us for burritos in San Francisco.

Definitely some hotness there. This is huge. He was at #3 on B&N last time I looked.

The book is hot stuff and the real deal! Got it in the mail yesterday and thoroughly enjoying it thus far. But I’ll be missing out on Burritos?! How about you send Scott and I a couple of those yummy burritos FedEx style :) since you haven’t visited either of us. FYI… There is a tasty pho spot here in NC (I know right?). Anyway, I remember meeting Ramit with you during one of our “Tuesday’s Club” sessions back at Tied House – fun times even then. Rock on Ramit!

Noah, the Amazon link seems broken.

Could you introduce me to Ramit by email? I want to ask him for an interview.

You get burrittos with Ramit and not me? Jeez, we can’t all have #1 books on Amazon.

He’s on the charts for NY Times and Wallstreet best sellers.

These communities are funny. Somehow noah-nation always meets them in person too.

We in Malaysia are enjoying high growth and high inflation, I do not understand all this complaining. We have to thank China for our strong growth as our economy was going down until March 2009 and China rescued us by buying our commodities. Currently there is strong job market, 2 jobs for every worker, we have to import in foreign labour to do jobs that locals do not want to do ! We have high inflation, an example is a local dessert called “cendol” selling for $1.20 in local currency a month ago, is now selling for $ 1.80 in local currency. Thats a hefty increase, so don’t complain, enjoy the boom ! The easiest way to get rich in Malaysia right now is if you need money just job hop to a higher salary, life is good !
