I was browsing a presentation on Slideshare today when I noticed a link to “Post to Twitter.” You are all familiar with the normal sharing links of Facebook, Digg, Delicious, etc…I was curious if this was working and went to search.twitter.com, and checked the text they insert with the post, “Check out this SlideShare.” Surprisingly tons of people are sharing content this method.

Use this to integrate:
I would suggest adding Post to Twitter to your site if you have content that people want to share.

This is pretty direct, as most have been used to getting linked to one’s Twitter profile, but they had not been able to directly post to Twitter. It is steps like this that continue to add more instant connectivity to the applications and website services that we work with.

I added the Twitter button on one of our podcast sites – it’s not used a ton, but it’s a nice feature.

Twitter works really well so many, that I think I really must try it.
