Wow, you don’t hear about too many stories of cell phone companies doing something nice like this. They had no real reason to give you a discount on your bill, but you asked and they did. Good job asking and good job to the phone company for good customer service.

@Susan – I don’ t think the phone company is going to go so far and call you when you are almost over your minuted. I know with Verizon there is a free number to call to check. They want to make money on the people who are going over their minutes.

Personally, I don’t think that is misleading… it’s a service oriented world and there are companies out there that should be looking out for their clients. Now I know it doesn’t make sense business wise, but wouldn’t it be nice if we heard stories about how ATT watched people’s minutes and when something like this happened … THEY CALL YOU … and let you know that you can be on a more appropriate plan? Wow.

Instead we get signed up for insurance (my underage kids had car insurance! on their accounts) that we never asked for – but never DIDN’T ask for either.

Companies that care, notice and make amends are the ones to be with.

Not that I know of. But they do have a Wi-Fi phone.
