Okdork Update

A few of you have asked me why I haven’t written as often recently. I am not a huge fan of excuses so I will talk about what is occupying my time:

- I left Mint.com
- I started kickflip
- I coordinated Community Next with a few friends
- I worked in Israel & Austin
- I am going to work from Argentina in a few months
- I moved to a new couch in SF. Thanks Shiv!

Good luck, Noah. I guess you weren’t expecting to get kickflip.com, though, since I tried it and got to a domain parking ad type page.

Noah, I may not “know” you, but I’m so inspired by your daring and willingness to pursue the things you’re passionate about. Sigh. I don’t even have a passport. :-)

Good luck and I hope you’ll provide updates on your travels and adventures.

sweet man. Whatever you do, it will turn out to be a success. It could be selling sand to people on a beach, and you’d still make it work. So when do we find out what kickflip is….?

    Whats kickflip all about?

Any insider information about why you left Mint? I thought they were getting lots of great media attention with the recent grand opening?

Mint is awesome. kickflip is trying to be awesome. I left Mint because I’ve always wanted to do my own thing and the opportunity is available now to do that.

    Joe, come with.

    noah…you’re my inspiration (and Britt’s, Daniel’s and Joe’s) ;)

    My list:
–I was BAMBOOZLED into working on a conference this last weekend in Cali…a little thing called Community Next. Maybe you’ve heard of it?

–I’ve been working to launch a conference with my ‘real job’. Should happen today and I think I may explode once it’s done!

–Met some amazing people this past weekend including a weird guy I just met who slept on the floor of my hotel room (HI ANDREW!!!)

–Bought a few new CDs…Mika, Colbie Caillat, James Morrison…all great!

–Lots of self-reflection time, which has been great and scary…all mixed into one

And yeah Noah, you do have quite an impact to the folks in this space. Heard about you since when you started HFG when Ralph Lee was a part of that… Ninjas rule. Keep winning cuz it’s awesome motivation for everyone around you.
