How about you use FourSquare to get the event hopping for you? Create a scavenger hunt of people to find and ask them a certain question and tweet their answers? Leave the question as a tip in the FourSquare page for that event? For those of us too far to conveniently travel to SF, we can sit on the sidelines and enjoy the banter from the twittersphere. I was recently one of the co-organizers of http://www.podcampnyc.org One of the philosophies of podcamp is that anyone can sign up to speak. We had over 600 people show up and it was even a holiday weekend. Why not create some kind of virtual meet-up so people like me, from New York, and other remote regions can be part of the conversation too? I'm all for getting together face to face, that's the best way to make connections, however, virtual connections are good too. Noah, when you are coming back to NYC so be can go to Benny's burritos?
