Category: Community, Personal OkDork Burrito Brunch this Sunday (2/11)
Today is the big day! The opening of Community Next, the project that so many people have contributed is now a reality. There are a fair amount of friends / readers attending who I know relatively well online but have never met in person.
I know I will be pretty busy during the conference so I thought anyone who is free can join me for a delicious burrito on Sunday in a more chill atmosphere.
Here are the details:
Taqueria El Grullense
Where: 3636 El Camino Real | Palo Alto, CA 94306
When: Sunday, 2/11/2007 at 11:00am

Bring your burrito face!

Ahh, another reason why I’m pissed I can’t be out there this weekend. I’ll be there in spirit though.

Love the Burrito Face.
I have actually booked in my calendar Sunday to be my sick day. Can’t seem to be able to get rid of my cold and I can’t slow down until Sunday. Have to get my Echoing Green Fellowship application out the door, made it to round two! I also have to attend this cool all day event on Saturday. Look forward to meeting you even though it will be brief but meaningful
Community Next will Rock, Good Luck and Great Job!

Hey Noah,
Maybe post future conferences you will be heading off to.
I won’t be able to make this one.
Make sure your attend when Guy Kawasaki speaks. I saw him at PubCon as a keynote speaker. Very interesting to listen to.

Hey Joe, Great Presentation. The “What’s Fresh at my Church” feature is pretty awesome
Now, if you can somehow convince Pastor Rick Warren (author of The Purpose Driven Life) and his Saddleback Church to join, then I’m sure that your site will take off like a rocket!
Btw, speaking of Mr.Warren, just in case you haven’t seen it, he gave an absolutely wonderful presentation at the last year TED:

Enjoy!

thx Noah, we had a great time & met a ton of people – the fight Friday night was AWESOME!!!
Was there a sponor for that???

[...] I’m not sure if a few of the local super stars in attendance got their RSS feeds crossed or what but it was ON Friday night at the Blue Chalk Cafe. Yahoo! was the pre-party sponsor and if the fight was included as part of the deal it was top dollar. There was a mass of security guards, girls screaming at their boyfriends, police cars and even some spincontrol as photographer fetching was forced to delete photos of the incident before leaving. Noah puts on a mean conference but man the fight really made us feel at home! [...]

Noah, amazing job. Two things I learned from this conference:
1) You are a rock star.
2) Bar fights are scary / entertaining.
