Why does Gabe Rivera hate the color grey?

The always sexy Gabe Rivera, founder of Techmeme, has become a close friend over burritos with me these past few weeks. He talks about his feelings, his love of programming and kicking ass. Another interesting thing was that he worked at Intel. I worked at Intel. We are destined for each other.

Anyways, why does any of this matter? It matters because

1) Gabe left the corporate Grey cubicle walls of Intel
2) Gabe decided to start his own thing and be his own boss
3) Women2 and Entrepreneur27 are holding a cool event for people like Gabe

What? A cool event called “Converting your Passion into a real Business.”
When is it? Tuesday, 12/5/2006 (tomorrow) from 6pm to 8pm.
