So many times lately I really wanted someone to call me. Noah you need to wake up. Noah I am talking to you on the phone so you can get out of your meeting. Noah make sure you did this. Blah, blah and blah.

indian call center

Problem: There are many times I could use a wake up call, reminders and other things.

Solution: An outsourced solution where via the web I can schedule calls to myself. Yes, I know they have automated machines but humans are so much more…real.

Would anyone else want this?

This is kind of sick, dude. Life will continue to progress with or without the self-importance of Mr. Kagan =o) If you want it to be with, do something worth calling you for!

That’s an interesting concept. Skype could be a great resource for such a start up. Apparently now you can call a land line using Skype for free within US and Canada till the end of the year. Even if not free, I would imagine their rate to be super low.

Also, how about a phone number you can send a txt to to schedule calls? “call back at 4:15pm”. An automated system can then log the request to the system and identify the phone number to the user requesting a call.

I like the idea, but I personally wouldn’t use such a service. I have sat in some pretty boring meetings though! :)

Geez, I think they had something like this in New York for a while, some sort of dot-com era concierge/assistant service. Not at the somewhat-humiliating MyLackey.com level of service, but yeah, if you needed a wake up call, they’d do it for you. I blame Google for not letting me remember it. Stupid empty search results.

This is 100 times better then telemarketrs calling you to sell the same damn Carrier service you are already using! or offering you the exact same Credit Card you have since 10 years! its kool but I really wonder if peeps will ever pay for it!

That is exactly what I want. The only thing is I really appreciate hearing a human voice instead of a machine generated recording.

Noah, thats a good point but difficult to do although as your title and picture hints at maybe someone will create a service that uses call centers to provide this solution, although I don’t know if people would be willing to put up with a foreign accent.
