The First Annual Wine Taste Off

A few weeks ago I was chatting with my friend Alyssa from Bottlenotes about my group Entrepreneur27. She liked our previous wine event and we were trying to collaborate on another event. She came up with the idea of a wine taste off between entrepreneurs and VCs. Brilliant!

So in 1 month we have lined up the top 25 Venture firms and 25 impressive entrepreneurs, secured a great catering company, sponsorship from TechCrunch, prizes and some delicious wine from Alyssa’s Bottlenotes. Update: This is an invite only event but we are auctioning off 1 ticket to the general public. Hope to see you there.

Nice. But for those of us who aren’t rockstars or social butterflys, could we get some more blog and web site marketing tips from you. I liked Top 5 Stupid Trends of Marketing 2.0, but could we get some of your thoughts on good trends or non trends in marketing and marketing 2.0. Thanks, Noah.

Damn, wish i could come. Noah you gotta come to some of the events i’m holding in London :)

  • [...] It was a really fun event. About 62 folks were on the list - roughly half VC/Investors and half Entrepreneurs. Much more intimate than some of the big TechCrunch-style bashes that I had attended at this same location (Michael was kind enough to open up his home in Atherton for this event - many thanks!). And, Noah Kagen did a nice job organizing the event and bringing in the folks from Bottlenotes to add some flavor and fun. [...]
