Note: Yopo is my new word for Young professional, spread it like wild fire.
Mike Li, the creator of the new mobile networking site Six Sense, is an Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) major AND a Cal Graduate. At the time, Li was excited about the internet bubble and wanted to make some cash using the web.
As a child, Li wanted to become a doctor (how original for Cal student…jk!) But of course, “O-Chem kicked my butt,” said Mike (I TOTALLY feel your pain Mike).

So what is Six Sense all about?
It’s a business trying to maki mobile phones help bring people togethor. It’s a great way to find people in your proximity who share the same interests and hobbies.
“I don’t want people to confuse it with myspace. Six Sense is not a mobile myspace,” warned Mike.
Basically Six Sense is a great service for meeting new people. Let’s say you got the number of the cute chick you met at the frat party and you want to learn some more about her. You check her number on Six Sense and you can read her profile and get to know her, score!
Bored and you’d like to meet someone new and interesting? GREAT! You can find anyone as close as 100 feet through profiles on Six Sense. Six Sense uses a new technology called blue tooth that uses short range scanning. Most new phones come with this new technology.
Six Sense is not a site to search profiles randomly or browse the web. It’s a quick way to find people right next to you who share you interests and hobbies. It’s a great way to get some ass or find a coffe-sipping-buddy. Six Sense even allows you to make multiple profiles; you can have your professional clean-cut, well suited business profile for jobs and interviews and switch to your crazy, night clubbing, alcoholic loving, scandalous profile for dating and netwroking whenever you want.
This is a visionary product.
“Hopefully it’ll change the way people interact all togethor,” Mike comments, “it could be used for dating, professional, business, and/or marketing networks.”
SO what have we learned?
A. Six Sense is NOT myspace
B. Six Sense is a great new way to interact with your mobile phone
C. Mike Li is a Bear Alumni and that AUTOMATICALLY makes him cool
D. His favorite color is blue (GO BEARS!)
E. Stanfurd sucks!
F. Six Sense rocks!

Yopo is also the name of a tryptamine-based psychoactive snuff produced from the seeds of the Anadenanthera peregrina tree and used by the Yanomami Indians in the upper Orinoco.
Yopo means “semen from the sun”…the story goes that the Sun was involved in an incestuous relationship with his daughter. She tickled his penis and paf! he ejaculates these seeds which the Yanonami use to prepare the snuff.
It also enhances 6th sense capabilities.
