Riya, How More Lazy Can We Get?

Ok so the new photo recognition progam, Riya is a really great idea and it’s a great way to help organize someone’s online photo album if it’s just a mess of images titled with DSC0008.jpeg. It tags faces and signs and symbols under catagories. It’s advanced face recognition technology can help distinguish between different facial expressions and angles.

But seriously, how much more lazy can we get? Are you telling me that it’s just waaaaay too much of an effort to go through your own freaking album and delete or reorganize the pictures you’ve taken.

Here’s an idea:everytime you take pictures, upload them onto your computer and organize them on the spot! It never fails to be punctual and organized.

It seems like our generation continues to grow more and more lazy as time goes on. We have machines doing practicially everything for us nowadays. I don’t need an inanimate object telling who are in my pictures and which file I should put them in. I am perfectly competent of doing that myself.

Yes, if you are organizationally-dyslexic then Riya is the best thing for you, or maybe if your album has gotten so ridiculously out of hand that it would take you months upon end to fix your piles among piles of images, but come one now. Take a few hours out of your day (assuming that that’s really how bad your album is) and fix it on your own.

I guarantee you will finish with a greater feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction.

Now get up off your lazy ass and get started.
