Jewgality IV: Movie savings

disclaimer: yes i am a jew so its okay to write jewgality, its a joke, get over it:)

Popcorn Movie Bag Trick (from Grant I): A friend of G’s told him about this and she is one of the queens of cheapness. Basically when she went to the movie theatre with her family they would go in to the theatre after the movie was over and look for those extra large bags with free refills. They would grab 1 or 2 and rip them immediately, bring them back to the counter and say can you replace the bag and fill it up for us. SUCCESS, free $10 popcorn.

Student ID: I think a lot of people know about this but I want to reiterate the point. If you have your student ID after college or highschool for the underachievers always bring it to the theatres. You save $2-3 and can then talk about those nostalgic days of college.

Costco card (another Grant): What does a Costco card and the movies have to do in common? Not much, but the interesting idea he had was regardless if you card expires you can always go in to the store. Do you know what that means? Free samples, so go and load up on them even if your membership expired and then head out to the movies with your student ID
