Thought Leaders versus Creation Drivers

As my aunt says there are two kinds of people in this world, do’ers and be’ers. I like to relate this to Thought leaders who are thinking about how to do things and talk about ways things should be against people are who are making it happen. I have noticed a pattern lately of people who have great ideas (myself included, hehe) and write about them for the public to aww. Some of these people include Seth Godin, Keith Ferrazzi and Om Malik. These people are Brillant thinkers and many of there ideas are down in writing. It reminds me of my best friend Marti who is going to get his PhD and probably more schooling after that. His future consists of sitting in companies and think ing about the way things are done and how they can be improved. These kinds of people are necessary for great thoughts and to have smart things to do for the Do’ers.

The makers of the world I call Creation Drivers, these are the people making things happen in the world. These are people who were invited to barcamp) Inventors like Mark Hurst who creates awesome websites: goovite.com and thisisbroken.com. The Robot Coop team for creating 43things and 43places and Zuckerberg for creating facebook and changing the way college students stalk one another.ï?Š Seriously, these are the people changing the way people live their lives.

It is not necessarily bad about being a Be’er but there actions make people think about their way of life. Whereas a Do’er is going to change the way you live your life. Which one are you?
