Harvard Business School MBA Program
“My name is Noah Kagan and I go to Haaarvard”, that is right
bitches. Sounds impressive right but that would require 2 years,
reading tons of books, late nights in libraries & lots of fake
networking.
Good deal huh? Well for some but I do not think it is for me right now. So here is what I am going to do about it.
Instead of spending 2 years in a classroom I am going to LIVE OUT my
MBA for 1 year. I am going to get real world experience by creating a
company. Reading tons of books around my interest, meet other people
out in the work force who are changing the world & hopefully create
a successful/sustainable business.
This would require increase dedication and focus. I don’t think it
would need to even be a great idea beyond working harder on the
businesses I am already doing. I think most businesses do well not
because of the idea but because of execution and the confidence in the
executer.
Think about if you are a hiring manager and two people come to you
looking for a job. One worked in a cubicle, took orders, spent 2 years
in graduate school and can make some great coffee. Second candidate
started their own dotCOM business, hired/fired a few people and failed
miserably.

I would like the 2nd candidate too…but sadly many corporates are not in favour of it.
They would prefer a person who is excellent in their studies and can pick up things fast. So that they can mould that person into what they want(im speaking on entry level).
I’ve asked around and they are not so keen on someone who was in business, rather they want someone whom they can train easily.
