happiness vs. money

HP names NCR leader as new chief executive | CNET News.com

i have been going back and forth in my head lately about the trade
off between very successful with all the money you would ever need and
happiness.

and that is not to say that you can’t get happiness from hardwork
but the normal way of thinking is you work hard and you deny other
things: family, love, friendship to focus on yourself and make yourself
happy.

i am in limbo from where i use to be so money hungry and ambitious
to wondering what is the point of that. am i selling myself short? i
always told myself i was put her for a special reason and not to just
be ordinary. (well not everyone is ordinary)

i look at this picture on my cubicle wall: “Everybody needs a smile”

and then i smile.

    Are you still in limbo about this? Probably not, considering it’s been over a year since you made this post. Maybe you’ve come back to this topic somewhere. I wouldn’t know… Still have at least 200 posts to go through ;)
